Final Results
ROCHESTER, NY – Graduate student Connor McCauslin won the 60-meter hurdles and sophomore Jack Pomykaj won the pole vault to lead the Nazareth University Men's Track and Field team at the RIT Invitational Friday night.
McCauslin was the top qualifier in the finals with a time of 8.75 seconds and then clocked an 8.69 to win the finals for the Golden Flyers. Freshman Carlton Garnes (9.10) was fourth and sophomore Holden Thomas (9.27) was seventh in the finals.
Pomykaj cleared 4.30 meters (14' 1 ¼") to win the pole vault while sophomore Jason Bletsko finished third with a height of 4.15 meters (13' 7 ¼").
Additional top finishers included junior Kyle Reid who was third in the high jump (1.77 meters (5' 9 ¾")) and the 4x400 relay with sophomore Joseph Cataldo, senior Kenny Williams, senior Ethan Glashauser and freshman Brennan Farr with a time of 3:43.83.
Sophomore Connor Jackson placed sixth in the 3K with a time of 9:54.15.
Reid added a 10th-place finish in the long jump and Garnes was 11th in the event while freshman Jason Marchincin was seventh in the high jump.
Freshman David Dobrowolski was eighth in the shot put with a heave of 12 meters (39' 4 ½").
Farr was eighth in the 800 and Cataldo was ninth in the same event.
