WEBSTER, NY – Nazareth's quartet of
Ryan Hough,
Adam DelGrand,
Kai D'Alessandro, and
Cameron Fairley placed third in the 800-meter freestyle relay (7:04.28) to highlight day one of the Allegheny Empire Swimming and Diving Championships at Webster Aquatics Center. The Golden Flyers are currently in sixth place out of seven teams with 96 points.
Day two will continue Thursday at 10 a.m.

Hough got things started in the relay with the fastest Golden Flyer leg of 1:42.82, followed by D'Alessandro (1:47.57) and DelGrand (1:50.07). Fairley closed out the relay with a time of 1:43.92.
To open the meet, Nazareth's 200-medley relay finished in sixth place in 1:39.16. The team was comprised of D'Alessandro, sophomore
Sam Romanosky, freshman
Jackson Gerbes, and junior
William Danaher.
