Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major... son of Robert and Stephanie D'Alessandro, Canandaigua, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, D'Alessandro swam well for the Golden Flyers in 2022-23... finished fifth in the 1,650 freestyle at the Allegheny Mountain/Empire 8 meet at Webster Aquatic Center with a time of 17:14.76... also sixth in the 400 IM (4:20.19) and 10th in the 500 free (4:58.23)... was a member of the 800 free relay that finished third (7:06.09)... posted a personal-best time of :56.68 in the 100 backstroke while leading off the 400 medley relay.

2021-22: D'Alessandro established himself as one of the top distance freestylers in the conference ... he was the Empire 8 champion in the 1,650 free race (16:45.80) to earn First-team All-Empire 8 honors ... was also second in the 400 IM.

2020-21: D'Alessandro swam well for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... was a member of the 800 free relay that finished first at the Rochester Invitational (7:05.15)... also finished second in the 500- and 1,650-yard freestyles with times of 4:46.77 and 16:50.63 respectively... also seventh in the 200 freestyle (1:48.59).

Scholastic: a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, D'Alessandro was a member of the swimming and diving team for five seasons, specializing in the distance freestyle events... helped team to Section Five Class B titles in 2018 and 2019 as well as a runner-up finish in Class A in 2020... served as team captain and competed at the state meet... also competed for the Victor Swim Club... member of National Honor Society and recipient of all-county Scholar-Athlete award.
