ITHACA, NY – Graduate student
Ryan Hough highlighted the final day of the Ithaca Bomber Invitational on Sunday, finishing in second place in the 100-yard freestyle. As a team, Nazareth finished seventh of eight teams with 481 points. Ithaca won the event with 1845 points.
Hough completed his strong final with a second place finish in the A final of the 100-yard freestyle with a 46.02.
Nazareth's quartet of
Adam DelGrand, Hough,
William Danaher, and
Sam Romanosky brought home a 10
thplace finish in the 200-yard medley (1:41.31). Later in the night, DelGrand, Hough, and Danaher were ninth in the 400-yard freestyle (3:17.16).
Danaher (54.53) and DelGrand (54.75) took 14
th and 15
th place, respectively in the B final for the 100-yard butterfly. In the C final,
Jackson Gerbes was 20
th (57.79).
In the 200-yard breastroke,
David Martin was 15
th in the B final (2:19.56), while Romansky (2:29.93) was 21
stin the C final. Martin was also in the 200-yard IM C final, finishing in 23
rd with a time of 2:13.08.
Gerbes was 18
th in 500-yard freestyle C finals with a time of 5:05.56, while
Gianluca Antonini was 20
th in 6:16.34.
