ROCHESTER, NY – Although graduate student
Ryan Hough managed to garner key points in his individual events Saturday afternoon, the Nazareth University men's swimming and diving team fell to Hartwick College 185-96.
Hough finished first in the 50-, 100-, and 200-meter freestyle events with final times of 23.93, 54.98, and 2:02.53, respectively. In the 100-meter, Hough finished almost four seconds faster than his nearest competitor.
Sophomore
Gianluca Antonini also had a good day in the pool, finishing third in the 800-meter freestyle (9:52.28), fourth in the 100-meter backstroke (1:18.76), second in the 400-meter freestyle (4:48.05), and was a member of the third place 400-meter freestyle relay.
Freshman
Will D'Agata also added to the point total, with a 240.60 score for the 1-meter diving event to take first.
The Golden Flyers compete next at the University of Rochester against the Yellowjackets on Saturday, November 16.
