Each squad came into the contest with two losses in conference play, however, now Nazareth is 6-4 overall and 5-2 in conference play, while Fisher is 3-5 and 3-3, respectively.
 
Catherine Zak and Kenna Ellis helped set the tone at first doubles, cruising to an 8-1 victory. Anna Spencer and Victoria Cioni also won at third doubles by an 8-2 score to give Nazareth a 2-1 edge after doubles play.
 
The Golden Flyers swept all of singles play with each match handily won.
 
Nazareth will close out conference play on Saturday, traveling to Houghton for a 1 p.m. contest. The Golden Flyers have already secured a spot for the 6-team Empire 8 Championships which will be October 15-19. The first round will feature the 3-6 seeds in first round action on Tuesday, October 15 with the 1 and 2 seeds receiving a bye to the semifinals.
