Final Results
GANANDA, NY – Four of five golfers that competed Sunday and Monday for the Nazareth University Men's Golf team in the St. John Fisher Invitational had their best rounds in the third round of the 54-hole tournament held at Blue Heron Hills Country Club.
Senior Thomas McIntosh finished in a tie for 10th place overall with a final score of 230 (+17) on the course that played 6,601 yards and par 71. McIntosh fired a 74 in the second round of the tournament and had six birdies in his three rounds.
He was particularly successful on two par-5 holes as he recoded four birdies on the 8th and 14th hole over the weekend.
Sophomore Vincent Falgiatano was next for Nazareth as he placed 31st with a three-round score of +43 (256). In his final round, he fired five straight pars to finish with a weekend best 83.
Fellow sophomore Alex Bolis also had a low final round as he wrapped up his scoring with pars on six of the final seven holes and an 85 for a three-round total of +55 (266).
Newcomer, junior Colin Rider used pars on three of the first four holes on the back nine to finish strong with a 274, +61 over his three rounds.
Sophomore Kyle Kuzniar rounded out the Nazareth scoring as he recorded a 281 +68 in the tournament.
The Golden Flyers will host the Nazareth Fall Invitational next weekend with a one-day event Sunday at the Stafford Country Club,
