Men's Lax Alums Jordan Hirsch & Francis Donald Coaching Israel at 2023 World Lacrosse Men’s Championship

SAN DIEGO, CA – The 2023 World Lacrosse Men's Championship is underway and two former Nazareth lacrosse players are assistant coaches on the sideline for the Israeli National Team. Jordan Hirsch and Francis Donald, both 2007 graduates of Nazareth, will be coaching the seventh-ranked country globally heading into the championship. The Championships will be taking place June 21-July 1 and all games will be streamed on ESPN+. The Israeli schedule is as follows:
 
Thursday: June 22, 10 a.m. PDT vs Sweden (1 p.m. EST)
Friday: June 23, 1 p.m. PDT vs Philippines (4 p.m. EST)
Sunday: June 25, 1 p.m. PDT vs Puerto Rico (4 p.m. EST)
Monday: June 26, 1 p.m. PDT vs Czech Republic (4 p.m. EST)
 
Said Hirsch, "After years of zoom meetings, data sheet sorting, player evaluating, google slide creating, and prep tournament playing, we can't wait to get things started."  
 
As the sport of lacrosse continues to grow in Israel, Hirsch and Donald are excited to be a part of something special. "Francis and I know that this opportunity doesn't happen without our lacrosse roots at Nazareth," said Hirsch.
