Box Score PANAMA CITY, FL – Senior Emma States scored nearly half her team's goals (nine) as Nazareth defeated SUNY Fredonia 19-14 on Monday night for the first game of its spring break trip. In addition, freshman goalie Allie Klestinec made her first career start, making six saves to secure her first career win between the pipes.
 
Nazareth improves to 2-3 on the season with the win, while Fredonia falls to 4-2.
 
The nine goals for States proved to be a career-high. She leads the Golden Flyers with 21 goals on the season.
 
Also scoring for the Golden Flyers was Kate Metzler, who was good for three goals on the night.
 
Maren Wallace and Maggie Vay each added two goals and an assist in the win.
 
The Golden Flyers will take on Vassar College on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in their second game of the spring break trip.
