HAMILTON, NY – Eighth-ranked Hamilton scored :35 seconds into overtime to defeat 14th-ranked Nazareth 2-1 on Tuesday night in non-conference action. It was the two squads first matchup since the Continentals downed the Golden Flyers 3-1 in the First Round of the NCAA Championship in 2023.

The Continentals evened up the score over 10 minutes later off a rebound to make it 1-1.

After scoreless second and third periods, the game headed to overtime. The Hosts needed just :35 seconds to put home a backhander from Abby Smith to earn the overtime victory.
