Nazareth College Athletics

Psychology minor... daughter of Scott Hoff and Heather Alvarado, Anchorage, Alaska... returning for her fifth season with Nazareth Hoff had a spectacular senior season en route to being named the UCHC Goalie of the Year... played in 24 games and finished with a 19-4-1 record with seven shutouts.... she had 415 saves on a .945 save percentage... made a season-high 32 saves in the UCHC Championship win over Utica to be named the Tournament MVP and All-Tournament Team... Hoff was a First Team All-UCHC selection... named Empire 8 Goalie of the Week four times (1/8/24, 1/29/24, 2/5/24, and 2/12/24)... winner of the Jeff Van Gundy Award named for former Nazareth basketball standout and Sports Hall of Famer Jeff Van Gundy, who was renowned for his work ethic and passion for his team and for his school. The award recognizes those characteristics as well commitment to Nazareth athletics in and out of season. 

2022-23: appeared in 22 games and finished with a 16-5-1 overall record with a .937 save percentage and a 1.15 goals against average and a school-record eight shutouts … recorded 386 saves and surrendered just 26 goals … had a career-high 40 saves against Bowdoin (11/26) and also had 37 against Utica (2/17) and 35 against Elmira (1/21) … earned Nazareth Athlete of the Week after her 40-save performance and was named the UCHC Goalie of the Week after the Utica series when she compiled 62 saves in the two games … named to the UCHC All-Academic team.

2021-22: Started and played in eight games last season and allowed just two goals while making 62 saves ... combined to make 23 saves in a pair of wins at Stevenson and finished the season with six shutouts, a 0.25 goals against average and a .969 save percentage ... earned Goalie of the Week honors from UCHC (1/17/22).

2020-21: Hoff played in one game for the Golden Flyers in the pandemic-shortened 2021 season and produced 27 saves in a 3-0 shutout win over Chatham on 3/6/21... named Goalie of the Week in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference for 3/9/21.

Scholastic: a graduate of Culver Academies in Indiana, Hoff played three seasons of varsity hockey there as a goaltender... named Player of the Year for 2018... attended USA Hockey's U16/17 Player Development Camp in 2019 and chosen to participate in Girls U18 Select Player Development Camp in St. Cloud, Minn... competed for Anchorage Northstars club team and was the recipient of the Roberts Leadership Scholarship... also competed in soccer and track and field at Culver Academies.
