ONEONTA, NY – Senior
Ryan Hough won three individual events (50, 100, and 200 freestyle) and was part of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay as Nazareth fell 194.5-93.5 to Hartwick on Saturday afternoon.
Hough's day began with a win in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:47.27, nearly two seconds faster than the second place finisher. He was also the winner in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.59 and the 100-yard freestyle (47.71).
Hough, along with
Cameron Fairley,
William Danaher, and
Adam DelGrand delivered the top spot in the 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 318.92. Hartwick's squad came in 3:20.92.
DelGrand's day included a pair of second place finishes as well. He was second in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 2:07.19 and runner up in the 100-yard butterfly (55.86). Danaher (58.60) and
Jackson Gerbes (59.58) were fourth and fifth place.
Kai D'Alessandro was second in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:46.71) and also in the 200-yard backstroke (2:08.96).
Aidan Quinn (2:13.63) was third in the 200-yard backstroke
Fairley was able to take second in the 500-yard freestyle in his time of 5:12.82.
Nazareth returns to the pool on Saturday, traveling to Brockport for a Double Dual Meet with SUNY Geneseo.
