BROCKPORT, NY – Junior Tessa Grover recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 12 assists for the Nazareth University Women's Volleyball team but it was not enough as the Golden Flyers dropped a 3-0 decision to SUNY Brockport.
Grover led Nazareth (8-14) with her double-digit kills – her 13th in the past 14 matches. She added 12 assists and has had double-digit efforts in assists over the same span of matches.
Brockport (13-10) won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-9 and 25-19.
Junior Ella Kules had 12 assists while sophomore Rylie Loomis and junior Ruth Jackson each added six kills. Sophomore Jenna Mattison had nine digs and fellow sophomore Leah Fusilli added five kills and seven digs.
Nazareth returns to Empire 8 action Friday against Keuka and Saturday against Utica.
