GENESEO, NY - The Nazareth women's cross country team competed in the 42^nd Annual Mike Woods Invitational on Saturday at the National Warplane Museum, finishing 12^th out of 23 teams with all scorers clocking career bests over 6k. Graduate student Emily Weaver led the way in a time of 22:24.6 to earn 38^thplace. Her previous best was 22:31.4 in 2022 at the Lehigh Paul Short Run.
 
Nazareth's second finisher was senior Lilianna Hanning in 51^st place at 22:38.9.
 
The Golden Flyers third scorer was Ella Impaglia (22:46.7), good for 63^rd place. She was followed by freshman Meghan Moyer (23:09.1) which earned her 73^rd place.
 
The final scorer was freshman Bailey Visingard, who crossed the finish line in 24:03.0 for 101^st place.
 
Senior Paige Ackley (24:05.5) was 104^th, while Morgan Pospiech (24:40.0) was 124^th.
 
The Golden Flyers will be off next weekend before hosting the Empire 8 Championships at Parkview Fairways on October 28.
