th-ranked Nazareth was held without a goal until :23 seconds remained in the game as the Golden Flyers fell to Williams College 4-1 on Tuesday in non-conference action. It was the Golden Flyers final game of the semester and they be back in action on January 6, hosting Stevenson at 7 p.m.
With the loss, Nazareth drops to 9-2 on the season, while the Ephs improve to 3-4.
The Golden Flyers were riddled with penalties in the game, taking eight total. The Ephs were able to convert on two of the power play opportunities, including one to make it 2-0 with around six minutes remaining in the opening period.
It was an even game in terms of shots, with Williams holding a slight 33-32 advantage, but the Ephs goaltender was able to stop 31-of-32 shots faced.
After a scoreless second period, the hosts lead blossomed to three at the 7:16 mark on another power play goal.
Nazareth eventually found the back of the net with an extra skater with :23 seconds remaining as
Nikolle Van Stralen jammed in the puck from in close. Assists were credited to
Ivey Lyden and
Makenna Wiljanen.
Williams added one more empty net goal with :15 seconds remaining.

Ally Watrous each added six shots on goal in the loss.
