Nazareth College Athletics

Daughter of John and Elizabeth Jones, Carnegie, PA .. returning for her third season, Jones appeared in 28 games as a sophomore... recorded one goal on the year against King's on 11/10/23... also had four assists on the year... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above in both the fall and spring semesters... one of six Nazareth student athletes to earn College Sports Communicators Academic All-District in the at-large category for having over a 3.50 GPA... named to the UCHC All-Academic team for having over a 3.20 GPA 

2022-23: Played in 19 games as a freshman … tallied a goal and added three assists … recorded a point with an assist in her first career game against Chatham (11/4) … scored her first collegiate goal against Neumann and finished the weekend series with a goal and an assist … earned UCHC All-Academic team honors.

Scholastic: a graduate of Carlynton High School and also played hockey for the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite team … competed on the track and field team at Carlynton and also played hockey for the Carrick Cougars … was a member of the U14 Pens Elite team that won a National Championship in Irvine, CA … named the Rookie of the Year for the Carrick Cougars and was an alternate captain for the Pens Elite squad … helped set the school record in the 4x800 relay as a freshman and also competed in shot put as a senior … received the Carlynton Federation Book Scholarship, PIHL scholarship, and Greater Pittsburgh Business and Profession Women scholarship and was a member of the National Honor Society.
