Box Score BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Everyone played and everyone scored for the visiting Golden Flyers, who led from start to finish in a one-sided 92-50 women's basketball victory over Medaille.
Nazareth won decisively for the second day in a row to improve to 2-1 overall. The Golden Flyers enjoyed quarter leads of 20-13, 47-30 and 69-42.
Junior center
Kim Davis reached a career high for the second day in a row as she posted a game-high 16 points. She scored 15 in Friday's 76-40 win over Keuka. Junior
Sarah Simmons, who missed all of last season while recovering from a knee injury, also reached a career-high with 13 points, including three three-point baskets. Freshman
Chelsea Woodsum, in just her thrid game, scored 11 points, including one three-pointer, and junior
Jadyn Abrams also scored 11.
Newcomers
Emma Garvey and
Laura Petrafesa also contributed. Garvey had all eight of her points and Petrafesa knocked down a three-point shot in the fourth quarter.
Nazareth's next game is a home non-conference game against the University of Rochester on Thursday at 7 p.m. The Golden Flyers resume their Empire 8 Conference schedule Sarturday at Keuka at 2 p.m.
