Box Score KEUKA Park, NY – Junior Emma Robinson and sophomore Kate Metzler scored three goals each to lead the Nazareth College Women's Lacrosse team to a 20-3 victory over Keuka Wednesday afternoon in an Empire 8 Game at Keuka.
Nazareth (2-3 overall, 1-0 E8) scored the first 11 goals of the game as Robinson scored twice and sophomore Emma States added two more for the Golden Flyers during the run.
Keuka (0-1, 0-1) scored two of the final four goals of the opening half as Nazareth took a 13-2 lead into the intermission.
In the second half, The Golden Flyers increased their lead with the first three goals of the period before the Wolves scored their third of the game. Nazareth finished the game with four more goals for the final tally.
Robinson finished with three goals and an assist while Metzler had three goals including two in the first half. Senior Callahan Lyon, sophomore Maren Wallace and States all finished with two goals each.
Freshmen Caraline Riley, Emily Paddock and Eleanor Matz, sophomore Maggie Vay, junior Lauren Caldwell and seniors Torey Blazey, Vicki Arena and Regan McGwin all scored a goal for Nazareth as 13 players recorded at least a goal.
Juniors Katie Lawrence and Emma Prosak split time in the Nazareth goal and combined for three saves.
The 20 goals are the most in a game since April 27, 2019 when the Golden Flyers won 24-0 over Alfred.
Nazareth will host Hartwick Saturday in an Empire 8 games and face non-conference foe Brockport Tuesday on the road.
