Marco Salvatore were individual winners for the Golden Flyers Thursday as Nazareth competed at the University of Rochester Invitational at Webster Aquatic Center.
With competition resuming Sunday at 1 p.m., Nazareth is in a close pursuit of Rochester in the team standings. UR is first with 526 points, followed closely by Nazareth with 512. Alfred (249), Clarkson (234) and Utica (87) are also competing.
Taylor won the 3-meter diving competition with 318.65 points and Salvatore was a winner in the 400 IM (4:14.40)
Nazareth also won the 200 free relay (1:26.19) with the group of freshman

Sean Payrot and seniors
John Koch and
Luca Biagiotti
Second-place finishers included Salvatore in the 200 IM (1:59.16); Payrot in the 50 free (:21.69); and freshman
Kai D'Alessandro in the in the 500 free (4:46.77).
Nazareth was runner-up in both the 200- and 400-medley relays. Hough, Payrot, Koch and Biagiotti swam in the 200 meter race (1:35.78), while Koch, Biagotti and Hough were joined by
Tom Griffin in the 400 (3:32.78).
