The Engineers scored twice in a span of less than two minutes in the second quarter and held a 2-0 lead at the end of the first half. Chuttey was credited with seven more saves in the period.
Rensselaer scored early in the third to take a 3-0 lead and then extended the lead to 4-0 with a goal in the closing minute of the quarter. The nine saves by Chuttey in the period brought her game total to 24 to tie her career high.
The Engineers kept the offensive pressure on in the final quarter and scored three times in less than four minutes to extend the lead to 7-0. Rensselaer fired 14 shots in the quarter and Chuttey recorded seven saves for her game total and school record of 31.
