2020: Desautels played well for the Golden Flyers during their six-game, pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... started all six games and finished second on the team with seven points on two goals and three assists... scored a goal in a 3-1 win at Houghton on 4/8/21... had one goal and three assists in a 5-2 E8 playoff win at Utica on 4/21/21... the three assists equaled a Nazareth single-game record reached four times previously... earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors... named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's National Academic Squad that requires a GPA of 3.30 and higher.

2019: Desautels started all 21 games for the Golden Flyers in 2019 and finished tied for second on the team in scoring with 23 points on 10 goals and three assists... had three goals each in wins over Morrisville on 8/30/19 and against Rensselaer on 9/14/19... also scored in wins over Keuka (9/7/19), Houghton (10/5/19), Wells (10/22/19) and Elmira (10/26/19)... named to the National Academic Squad by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for achieving a grade-point average of 3.30 or better.

Scholastic: a graduate of South Burlington High School, Desautels competed in a variety of sports, including field hockey and lacrosse... played two seasons of varsity field hockey and was a first-team all-star selection in the Northern Vermont Athletic Conference for 2018... also selected to the Vermont Twin State team for field hockey and lacrosse to compete in a senior all-star game between Vermont and New Hampshire... helped field hockey team to state title in 2017 and runner-up finish in 2018... helped lacrosse team to a state title in 2019... recipient of South Burlington Boosters Sportsmanship Award and Senior-Athlete Award... member of National Honor Society and recipient of Michael Flaherty Memorial Scholarship for athletic and academic achievement as well as community service.
