ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. -- Senior
Kyle Bromley was Nazareth's top individual men's golf finisher Sunday as the Golden Flyers completed the second round of the McDaniel Spring Invitational at the Bridges Golf Club.
Bromley followed up an 83 on Saturday with an 81 Sunday for a two-round total of 164, good for a tie for 44th place individually. Nazareth placed 17th in the team standings with a score of 695. Franklin & Marshall was the team titleist with a score of 622. Rosemont was second with 625, followed by McDaniel (630) and Bridgewater (634).
Other Nazareth competitors were freshman
Ian Brotherton, who shot back-to-back 87s for a two-day total of 174; sophomore
Dominic Cicchetti (88-86 -- 174); sophomore
David Powlowski (96-88 -- 184); and senior
Jonathan Gerken (95-92 -- 187).Â
Nazareth plays again April 14-15 at Hershey Country Club for rounds three and four of the Empire 8 Conference Tournament.
