The Nazareth women's Lacrosse teams kicks off its 2017 season on Wednesday, March 8 when it hosts Brockport for a 4 p.m. contest.  Nazareth was originally slated to open the season on the road at Fredonia of Friday (3/3), however, that game has been rescheduled due to weather.  The Golden Flyers and Blue Devils will now play March 30th at 4 p.m.

Nazareth will look to build off its 2016 season, where it went 11-6 overall and 6-2 in Empire 8 play.  The Golden Flyers earned the No. 4 seed for the Empire 8 tournament, falling at top-seeded Ithaca 13-11 in the semifinals.

Nazareth graduated three seniors from a season ago, but brings back a strong core from last year's squad.  Head coach Traci Lian's team features six seniors, seven juniors, six sophomores and nine freshman.  Sophomore Arianna Torpey transferred from Mercyhurst College.
