Baldwinsville, N.Y. – The Nazareth College men's golf team completed the fall portion of the Empire 8 Championship on Sunday, finishing in sixth place with a two day score of 685 (+109) at Timber Banks Golf Club. 

Nazareth carded a 335 on day one and a 350 on Sunday.

Tom Rossini was the top finisher for Nazareth with a (+21) after two rounds.  The junior followed up a 83 on Saturday with an 82 on Sunday.

Sean de Herder also had a one stroke improvement, shooting an 85, 84 to finish +25 and in a tie for 24^th place.

C.J. Murray carded a two day total of 175 (+31) to finish in a tie for 34^th place.  Senior Caleb McGuire launched the low first round score for Nazareth with an 82, before a day two score of 94 to finish +32. 

The final two rounds of the Empire 8 Tournament will be played in the spring.

Nazareth returns to action on October 3^rd and 4^th for the ECAC Tournmanet held at Ravenwood Golf Club.
