With the win, Nazareth improves to 2-3-2 overall and 2-3-1 in ECAC West play, while Neumann falls to 4-3-0 and 2-3-0, respectively.

Nazareth trailed 2-1 heading into the final period.  After going 0-for-4 to start the game on the power play, the Golden Flyers capitalized on their final two extra man opportunities in the third period.

Freshman Austin Romzek netted his first collegiate goal on the power play 6:23 into the third period off an assist from John Power.

Just :51 seconds later, with the Golden Flyers back on the power play, Dominik Gabaj found Brad Pizzey to give Nazareth the 3-2 advantage.

Ed Zdolshek made 35 saves in net for Nazareth, including two in the final minute of the game, as the Knights put pressure on with an extra attacker on the ice.  Gabaj sealed the victory on an empty net goal with just :15 seconds to play.

Sean de Herder put the Golden Flyers on the board first near the midway point of the first period, marking his first goal of the season off an assist from Justin LaCorte.

The Knights, however, tied the game at 1 just 1:05 after de Herder's goal.

The score remained 1-1 until Neumann converted a power play in the second period at 5:04.

Nazareth  returns to action next Saturday when it will host Babson College for a 3 p.m. contest.
