Olivia Harrigan each had 13 kills as Nazareth won in four sets by scores of 25-17, 25-20, 24-26, 25-13.
The Golden Flyers have won seven straight and 15 of their last 16 matches to stand at 15-5 overall. Rochester is 9-13. Nazareth travels to California this weekend for a tournament hosted by the University of La Verne.
Against the Yellowjackets, Nazareth posted an efficient .271 hitting percentage (50-18-118), including a mark of .458 (13-2-24) in the fourth set. Harrigan's 13 kills came without a hitting error in 21 attempts for a .619 percentage. Senior
Maria Allocco added 11 kills with one error in 19 attempts for a .526 percentage.
Sophomore
Madi Wickens had 44 assists and four service aces and sophomore libero
Maureen Thayer had a match-high 23 digs. Harrigan's kills were evenly dispersed with five coming in the decisive final set. Alloco added four kills.
Nazareth's next match is Friday at Pomona Pitzer at 9:30 p.m. eastern time. Nazareth also has matches against Whitter, Virginia Wesleyan and La Verne.
