ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Visiting Oswego slugged three home runs in a 14-9 non-conference softball victory over Nazareth in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday. The Lakers then rallied for four runs in the last three innings for a 5-3 win over the Golden Flyers in the second game.
Oswego evened its overall record at 14-14, while Nazareth dropped to 5-20.
Alexandra McKay went 4-for-5 with two home runs and drove in four runs for the Lakers, who had 18 hits in the first game. Designated hitter Brooke Radley also homered and drove in three runs.
Nazareth banged out 12 hits of its own with junior
Sarah Cipperly going 3-for-5 with a three-run homer in the third inning.
Sophia Rhoades had two hits and knocked in two runs and freshman
Cydney Luke also singled twice.

Danae Wetherbee was the losing pitcher for Nazareth as she pitched all seven innings and struck out two.
Cipperly's homer gave Nazareth a temporary 6-4 lead in the third inning, but Oswego came back to score seven runs in the third on six hits, including a two-run double by Sammie Schroeter, to go ahead for good 11-6.
Nazareth closed to within 11-9 with three runs in the fourth with
Shauna Bardanis delivering an RBI grounder and Luke and
Meg DeMario contributing run-scoring singles.
McKay then hit a solo home run in the sixth and a two-run shot in the seventh for Oswego to create more separation.
In the second game, Nazareth got single runs in the first, second and fourth innings to go up 3-1.
Maureen Rogers doubled home
Morgan Ross with a run in the first, then Bardanis doubled in the second inning and scored on an error.
Sophia Rhoades cracked a solo home run in the fourth to make it 3-1.
Oswego scored an unearned run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Schroeter and then tied the score in the sixth on a run-scoring single by Sue Schoff. In the seventh, Katie Bredin reached on an infield single and advanced to second on an error and came all the way around to score on an infield single by Schroeter, who later scored on a sacrifice fly by Brooke Radley.
Nazareth plays its final home games Wednesday against Buffalo State at 3 p.m.
