All-Region Team
ROCHESTER, NY – ON Friday, The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its all-region teams with
Ashley Bell (second base),
Alexis Brown (outfield),
Madison Hicks (utility/pitcher), and
Bryanna Moroughan (shortstop) earning recognition for Region III. Bell and Brown were first team selections, Hicks second team, and Moroughan third team.
After three selections in 2025, the Golden Flyers added another in 2026 with each earning all-region recognition for the first time in their careers.
Bell saved her best season for last, starting all 38 games with career-highs in hits (37), doubles (8), RBI (14), slugging percentage (.584) and on-base percentage (.453). She recorded a .917 fielding percentage with 69 putouts and 63 assists.
Brown started her career off fast, ranking 25
th in the country with a .491 batting average. The dynamic outfielder set the single season stolen base record with 30, which ranked 50
th in the country. She tied Moroughan with 39 runs scored for the season.
Hicks earns a nod on the second team after appearing in 34 games, hitting .322 with 37 hits and 10 doubles. She blasted 6 home runs and brought in 21 RBI. On the pitcher's mound, Hicks appeared in 18 games, going 11-4 with a 3.52 ERA.
Moroughan's 56 hits this season ranked 108
th nationally, while her 42 Rbi was 81
st nationally. Her nine triples during the season ranked fourth in the country. At shortstop, she had 56 putouts and a team-leading 89 assists.
