HILTON, NY (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Softball junior Amanda Linnenbrink earned Empire 8 All-Tournament honors for her performance at the E8 Championship last weekend, May 8-9, at SUNY Geneseo's Raschi Softball Field. 

Linnenbrink threw 12 innings of work in the Golden Flyers two tournament contests against Alfred and Geneseo, allowing four earned runs on 14 hits while striking out two. The junior tossed 7.2 innings in Nazareth's first game against the back-to-back champion Saxons, giving up one earned run on six hits. Linnenbrink came into the Golden Flyers second game against Geneseo in relief, pitching 4.1 innings and giving up three earned runs on eight hits with three strikeouts.
