STAFFORD, N.Y. -- Sophomore Dan Strack produced Nazareth's lowest total over the weekend as Nazareth's men's golf team competed at the St. John Fisher Collegiate Invitational at Stafford Country Club.

Strack finished in a tie for 24th place individually with a nine-hole score of 41 Saturday and an 18-hole round of 76 Sunday. Nazareth finished seventh in the eight-team event with a stroke total of 491. Fisher won the tournament with a 7-under-par total of 425. Allegheny (447) was a distant second, followed by Daemen (453) and Roberts Wesleyan (453), Rochester (456), Elmira (472), Nazareth (491) and Hobart (499). Saturday's opening round was reduced to nine holes due to inclement weather.

Other competitors for Nazareth were sophomore Andrew Lund, who had scores of 42 and 78 for a 120 total; freshman Dan Studin, who had 43 and 79 for a 122 total; junior Ahren Henby, who had 41 and 82 for a 123 total; junior Nick Polito, who had 44 and 86 for a 130 total; senior Jay Stith, who had 43 and 87 for a 130 total; and freshman Caleb McGuire, who had 50 and 89 for a 139 total.
