HERSHEY, Pa. -- Senior
Tyler Woodward was Nazareth top individual finisher over the weekend as Nazareth completed the final two rounds of the Empire 8 Conference golf tournament. The second-semester portion of the tournament was contested at Hershey Country Club's East Course. The first two rounds were played in the fall at Yahnudasis Country Club in New Hartford.
Nazareth finished seventh in the eight-team event with a four-round stroke total of 1366. St. John Fisher won the team title with a score of 1194. Elmira (1247) was second, followed by Moravian (1253), Scranton (1273), Stevens (1304), Susquehanna (1315), Nazareth (1366) and Utica (1426).
Woodward posted scored of 85 and 82 on the weekend to finish with a four-round total of 321. Freshman
Dan Strack completed the event with a four-round score of 340 following weekend scores of 82 and 85. Freshman #Andrew Lund) and sophomore
Nick Polito also competed and had totals of 362 and 371 respectively.
St. John Fisher's Tyler McArdell won the individual title with rounds of 69, 71, 78 and 71 for a score of 289.
