ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Visiting Salve Regina scored the game-winning goal with 9:21 left in the third period Saturday, lifting the Seahawks to a 4-3 men's hockey victory over the Golden Flyers at the Sports Centre at MCC.
The defeat evened Nazareth's record at 2-2, while Salve Regina improved to 1-1 with the non-conference win.

Nazareth trailed for much of the game. It was 1-0 after one period and 3-1 after two. The Seahawks got a power play goal from Cameron Gaudet in the first period to grab a 1-0 lead. Shaun Altshulter scored in the second period to make it 2-0.
Nazareth got a power play goal from
Packy Jones at 4:29 of the second period with assists from
Sean de Herder and
Jordan Ciccarello, but Salve Regina cashed in on the power play again before the second period ended to regain its two-goal lead at 3-1. Marc Biggs scored the goal with William Gomolinski assisting.
In the third period, Waldman's two goals came within a span of 23 seconds to tie the score. The first goal came at 3:42 and was unassisted. The second goal was a power play score and came just four seconds after SRU's Alex Barr went to the penalty box for hitting from behind.
Julius Tamasy gained the assist. The score stayed tied until Gintoli's goal.
Nazareth had a 27-24 edge in shots and the Golden Flyers had nine penalties for 37 minutes, including a game misconduct assessed to
Jon-Paul Durso in the closing seconds. Salve Regina was assessed nine penalties for 18 minutes. The Seahawks won 38 of 67 faceoffs. Gladnick had 20 saves for the Golden Flyers. Mike McDonald had 24 saves for the Seahawks.
Nazareth is off until Saturday when the Golden Flyers play their first ECAC West Conference game at Utica at 7 p.m.
