HILTON, NY (nazathletics.com) - Nazareth Men's Hockey placed 25 student-athletes on the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's (UCHC) All-Academic Team, the conference announced Friday morning. The league's nine member institutions combined to have 215 student-athletes honored.
For All-Academic consideration, a player must have completed at least one academic year at their current institution, while holding a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 for all terms of the stipulated 2025-26 academic year. The UCHC's All-Academic distinction is an opportunity to recognize student athletes at member institutions not only for the work they put in to be part of a collegiate hockey program, but the work they do inside the classroom to prepare for their future careers.
UCHC newcomer Albertus Magnus led the conference with 31 All-Academic honorees, while Elmira and Nazareth were right behind with 25 honorees each. Manhattanville and first-year program St. John Fisher each had 24 student-athletes honored, while UCHC Champion and NCAA Quarterfinalist Utica and Chatham both had 23 student-athletes honored. A total of 79 student-athletes were honored for at least the second time, while 41 student-athletes are three-time selections and 13 garnered the prestigious accolade for the fourth straight season.
Thirty student-athletes posted 4.0 grade-point averages in 2025-26, including nine from Albertus Magnus and seven from Nazareth. Eight institutions had at least one student-athlete record a perfect 4.0 GPA for the year.
