HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Four minutes into the first period, Stevenson drew first blood. The puck took an unfortunate bounce off the end wall and came out in front of the net, where a Mustang player sent it across the crease for the goal. Stevenson struck again just two minutes later to take an early 2-0 lead.

- The second period ended scoreless, with Stevenson maintaining a 3-0 advantage. However, the Golden Flyers showed improvement in the frame. Nazareth had a power-play opportunity in the latter half of the period but was unable to convert.
- Just 17 seconds into the third period, the Mustangs extended their lead to 4-0 with a goal off the rush.
- Both teams added a goal in the remaining minutes of the third period. Antoine Lucier scored Nazareth's lone goal, with Kai Shen and Mathieu Fehr getting the assists.
