ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Host Nazareth dropped an Empire 8 Conference softball doubelheader to Stevens Sunday. The Ducks rallied for four runs in the seventh inning to take the first game 4-1, then scored 10 runs in the first three innings of the second game for a 13-4 win.
The Ducks improved to 14-8 overall and 3-1 in conference play. Nazareth is 3-15, 0-4.

Kelly Kocher was locked in a pitcher's dual with Stevens' Kayla Berardi as the game was scoreless through four innings. Nazareth took a 1-0 lead in the fifth as freshman

Liz Toner, who opened the inning with a single.
Stevens rallied to score four times in the seventh on a pair of two-run homers off Kocher. First sophomore Clair Strom connected after Naomi Sacks led off the inning with a double. After a walk to Sarah Parker, Stephanie Senkevich unloaded the second two-run blast of the inning.
Nazareth had nine hits in the game, two each for freshman
Claire Campbell and junior
Casey Mathers.
In the second game, the Ducks pounded out 15 hits, including home runs by Sacks, Senkevich and Noreen Jordan. Senkevich was 4-for-4 with a two-run homer in the sixth. Jordan's home run, in the second, was a three-run blast.
Nazareth scored four times in the bottom of the fifth inning with the help of two Stevens errors. Campbell had two of Nazareth's six hits and
Kasey Pollot had an RBI after being hit by a pitch. Mathers had a doubhle and scored a run.
Nazareth is home Wednesday for a non-conference doubleheader against Geneseo at 3 p.m.
