NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- Two rounds of the Empire 8 Conference Tournament for men's golf are complete and the Golden Flyers are in sixth place in the team standings. Senior Ben Herrmann fired a 75 Sunday at Yahnundasis Golf Club as Nazareth posted a two-day team score of 649.

Moravian and St. John Fisher are tied for first place with 617. Scranton (628), Elmira (631) and Susquehanna (635) also were ahead of Nazareth in the team standings. Moravian will host the final two rounds next spring.

Herrmann's Sunday score gave him a two-day total of 156, good for a tie for ninth place individually. Seth Hartman of Moravian was the individual leader at the tournament's midpoint as he had scores of 71 and 77 for a 148 total.

For Nazareth, Dylan Bedy had scores of 82 and 78 for a 160 total. Tyler Woodward (80-81 -- 161); Mike Bufalini (87-86 -- 173); Kyle Dacey (88-89 -- 177); and Jay Stith (86-93 -- 179) also competed for the Golden Flyers.
