ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth's women's cross country team has been recognized again by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for having one of the top collective grade-point averages in Division III for the 2008 season.

The Golden Flyers had a team GPA of 3.404 to rank among the top schools. The Golden Flyers also were recognized in 2006 and 2007.

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet.  The team must also have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average.

Nazareth finished 14th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional last November, paced by a 62nd-place finish by senior Abby Crain.
