Gettysburg, PA – The Nazareth women's cross country team traveled to Gettysburg College for the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on Saturday, highlighted by senior Ella Impaglia setting the school record in the 6k with a time of 22:15.9. The previous record was held by Gabrielle Lebihan (22.17.9) in 2014. As a team, the Golden Flyers took 8th place out of 33 teams in the 6km race, with a 5-runner score of 219. GRC Tracksmith took the win with a score of 45.

Impaglia took 12th place overall and clocked a time of 22:15.9.

Junior Kelsey Fahy came in 42nd individually and was second among Golden Flyers. She completed the race in 23:24.2.

Crossing the finish line at 23:36.5 was junior Bailey Visingard. Her time earned her 53rd place individually and marked a new personal best.

Only two positions behind Visingard was her teammate, junior Meghan Moyer. Moyer turned in a time of 23:44.8, which was good for 55th overall and fourth on her team.

Rounding the top five finishers among Nazareth runners was freshman Felicity Scherer. She crossed the finish line at 23:57.0, good for 67th overall and a new collegiate personal-best time.

The Golden Flyers will be back in action on Saturday, November 1st at the Empire 8 Championships hosted by St. John Fisher in Rochester, NY.
