ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Senior Lizzie Barlow, playing in her final home game, scored all of her game-high 14 points in the second half for Nazareth Tuesday as the Golden Flyers closed out their regular-season with a 57-43 women's basketball victory over Elmira.

The victory pushed the Golden Flyers past the .500 mark at 13-12 overall, including 7-9 in the Empire 8. Elmira finishes its season at 9-16 overall and 4-12 in the E8.

Nazareth hit seven three-pointers out of the nine baskets scored in the first half to take a 27-24 halftime lead. Senior Sally Wilcox, junior Kelly Dunne and freshman Brittany Wilson each hit two long-range shots.

The Soaring Eagles clawed back to within two, 41-39, following a three-pointer by Becky Peterman with 9:28 left. It was still a three-point game, 46-43, with 4:50 to play, but Nazareth used an 11-0 scoring to close the game, highlighted by three baskets from Barlow.
