ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth senior Rachel Cushman (Irondequoit, NY) scored two goals, both in the last 13 minutes of the second half, to lead the Golden Flyers in a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over host Geneseo.

Geneseo took a 1-0 lead at 11:13 when junior Stephanie Bergin played a cross from the right side to first year Bella Masotti, whose shot found the right corner of the goal.  The Blue Knights held the lead late into the second half before Cushman scored her first goal at 77:21 off a pass from Erica Conte (Caledonia-Mumford).

The Golden Flyers took the lead six minutes later, at 83:34, when Ashley Clinton (Shenendehowa/Rexford, NY) sent a direct kick from near midfield into the scoring area, where Cushman headed a shot past Geneseo goalkeeper Katie Clerkin for the winning score.  Hillary Simon (Homer, NY) made seven stops to post the win for Nazareth while Clerkin finished with three saves for Geneseo.

The Golden Flyers improve to 3-2 on the season and host Brockport on Saturday, September 13 at 1 p.m.
