The Golden Flyers dropped games to RIT and Rochester at the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout, but Gjonaj played well in representing the Golden Flyers on the all-tournament team. She equaled a career-high by scoring 12 points (and grabbing 10 rebounds) in Saturday's loss to UR. In a close loss to RIT last Thursday, she grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds. Her 9.3 rebounds per game leads the team and ranks third in the Empire 8 Conference.
