Heicherger captured first in the shot put at the Nazareth Alumni Opener with a commanding throw of 16.07 meters (52-8 ¾). That mark shattered his own school record of 15.34 meters (50-4") set last year. He also recorded a personal best in the weight throw at (16.92m) to take third place.
