GENEVA, N.Y. -- Nazareth closed out its women's tennis schedule Thursday at William Smith, where the host Herons claimed all three doubles matches on the way to an 8-1 non-conference win over the Golden Flyers.

Nazareth ended its season with an 8-8 overall record, while William Smith improved to 7-3.

Senior Alex Vizgaitis earned Nazareth's lone point with a straight-set win at second singles over William Smith's Casey Nicoletti 6-4, 6-2. Junior Alison Tepas dropped a close match at first singles, 6-4, 6-3 to the Herons' Teru Greene.

Vizgaitis and Tepas teamed up for the final time at first doubles and fell 8-6 to William Smith's top tandem of Greene and Hallsey Leighton.
