MINNEAPOLIS -- Freshman Carissa Risucci swam slightly slower than her qualifying time Friday, but she will swim again Friday evening in the consolation finals of the 100-yard breaststroke at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Minnesota.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Fredonia scored the game-winning goal with :14 left in regulation Thursday to complete a second-half rally for a 10-9 women's lacrosse victory over Nazareth in a non-conference game. Freshman Megan Cregan scored five goals for the Golden Flyers.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- Sophomore Kelly Kocher turned in another strong pitching performance for the Golden Flyers Thursday and sophomore Casey Mathers slugged a two-run homer as Nazareth defeated Centenary of New Jersey in a spring break softball game, 6-0. Nazareth also lost to Spring Arbor of Michigan in the second game, 8-4.

Two years ago at this time, Joe Mihalich ’09 was playing in the NCAA Division III Tournament after the Nazareth men’s basketball team won the Empire 8 Conference tournament to earn an automatic berth in the Big Dance for the first time in school history.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Honors continue to roll in for Nazareth basketball standout #Corey McAdam#. The senior guard from Fairport, N.Y. became Nazareth's first-ever first-team All-American Wednesday as he was chosen by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He also earned first-team all-region honors from d3hoops.com and was chosen as the East Region's Player of the Year.
