HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Nazareth's men's and women's tennis teams continued their spring break schedule Monday with non-conference matches against Rhodes College of Tennessee. Nazareth's women's team dropped to 6-6 overall with a 7-2 loss, while the men's team dropped a 9-0 decision.

Junior Alison Tepas helped account for both points in the women's match as she won 6-2, 7-5 at first singles over Rhoddes' Maggie Donoghue. Tepas also teamed with senior Alex Vizgaitis for an 8-5 win at first doubles.

In other singles action, Zizgaitis, Christine Cary, Ami Petosa, Hannah Teter and Elizabeth Crane each lost in straight sets.

Nazareth had a difficult time in the men's match as well as senior Ryan McCormick lost for the first time in dual-meet competition. He lost to Rhoddes' Sanders Phelps 6-2, 7-5.

Both teams play again Tuesday against Lake Forest College of Illinois.
