ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Host Rochester used a .276 hitting percentage that included a match-high 23 kills from Kelly Mulrey as the Yellowjackets defeated Nazareth in a four-set women's volleyball match. Scores were 25-21, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18.
Nazareth dropped its second straight non-conference match and is now 17-10 overall. The Yellowjackets improved to 18-9 as they defeated Nazareth for the second time this season.
Mulrey's 23 kills came against just three hitting errors in 47 attempts for a .426 hitting percentage. She also totaled 11 digs. Savannah Benton added 11 kills and Jennie Ford had 42 assists.

Maria Allocco each had 11 kills for the Golden Flyers, who hit .204 for the match. Sophomore

Brittany Crocetti had 30 kills and 10 digs.
Nazareth travels to Utica this weekend for three key conference matches. Nazareth, 4-0 in conference matches, plays Stevens Saturday at 7 p.m. Nazareth then plays Hartwick Sunday at 10 a.m. and Ithaca at 2 p.m. The Golden Flyers will be seeking the top seed and hosting privileges for next month's four-team Empire 8 Conference Tournament.
