Psychology major ... ... daughter of Pete Bothner, Rochester, N.Y. and Dionne Pike, Rochester, N.Y... returning for her third season, Bothner excelled as a libero for the Golden Flyers in 2018, appearing in 31 matches and 107 sets... led the team with 468 digs (4.37 per set)... also had 56 assists and 36 service aces... named as an honorable mention selection to the Empire 8 Conference all-star team... reached double digits in digs 22 times, highlighted by a season-high of 31 in five sets against Stevens in the E8 title match on 11/4/18... also had 30 digs in a four-set loss at Rochester on 10/17/18 and 28 in a four-set win over Stockton on 8/31/18... had a career-best six service aces against Utica on 10/24/18... named to all-tournament team for Golden Flyer Invitational. 

2017: Bothner played well for the Golden Flyers in 2017 as she played in all 34 matches and 127 sets mostly as a libero... produced team bests with 598 digs (4.71 per set) and 55 service aces (0.43 per set)... earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors and twice was recognized as E8 Rookie of the Week (for 10/2/17 and 1016/17)... had five aces in a five-set loss to Springfield on 10/13/17... posted double digits in digs 32 times with 20 or more 10 times... had a career-high of 35 at Vassar on 9/30/17.

Scholastic: a graduate of Pittsford Sutherland High School, Bothner played five seasons of varsity volleyball there... helped team to five straight Section Five titles and two state championships... earned all-state, all-Greater Rochester and first-team Monroe County League all-star honors... named MVP of Section Five Tournament... member of the VolleyFX club team ... scholar-athlete award winner and high honors graduate ... recipient of the Williams College Book Award in 2016.
