Business Administration major. . . born 6/11/88. . . daughter of Doug and Laurie Payne, Farmington, N.Y. . . returning for her fourth season, Payne appeared in 51 sets in 2008 and amassed 59 kills to go along with 37 blocks (led the Golden Flyers in blocks per set with 0.73). . . recorded seven blocks against Buffalo State (8/29/08). . .  2007: Payne appeared in 109 games and had 79 kills and 62 total blocks. . . had a career-best 12 kills vs. Lebanon Valley 8/31/07. . . had seven blocks vs. Elizabethtown 10/12/07. . . 2006: appeared in 38 games and had 33 kills and 16 digs… had a season-best six kills vs. St. Lawrence 10/7/06. . .  Scholastic: a graduate of Victor Central, Payne played two seasons of varsity volleyball for coach Shelly Collins. . . served as team captain in 2006. . . also a member of basketball and track teams . . . placed second in the Section Five pentathlon and helped track team to three Finger Lakes East titles. . . a member of the National Honor Society and the French Honor Society.
