Biology major. . . daughter of Ion and Iolanda Parvan, Fairport, N.Y. . . returning for her third season, Parvan played in first singles for the majority of matches and posted a 13-12 record, including a 4-2 mark in conference matches. . . posted a 13-11 overall record in doubles, including a 5-1 record in the conference. . . received first-team all-conference honors in singles and first-team all-conference honors in doubles with teammate Rachel Leonard. . . 2005-06: Parvan played well in her first season with the Golden Flyers in 2005-06. . . won 37 matches overall -- 18 singles and 19 doubles. . . earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors for both singles and doubles. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Fairport High School, Parvan played four seasons of tennis. . . helped team to Section Five titles in 2001, 2002 and 2004. . . won Section Five doubles titles in ‘03 and ‘04 and reached the finals in ‘02. . . competed in state tournament in ‘03 and ‘04 and earned a top 15 finish in 2004. . . recipient of Red Raider Award for effort and achievement in 2003 and team Sparkplug Award in 2004.
