Business Administration major. . . born 07/13/88. . . daughter of Jorge and Evelyn Martinez, Cortland, N.Y. . . returning for her fourth season, Martinez finished with a 5-5 record at second singles, including a 5-3 record in conference matches. . . finished with a 6-5 doubles record at first doubles with teammate Rachel Leonard. . . Martinez and Leonard had a 6-2 conference record and earned second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors. . . 2007-08: Martinez played well for the Golden Flyers in 2007-08 as she compiled a 9-10 record at third singles, including a 6-2 mark in conference action . . . also won 11 times in doubles competition. . . was Nazareth’s representative as Empire 8 Conference Sportswoman of the Year . . . 2006-07: enjoyed a successful first season with a singles record of 18-5, including a 5-1 record in conference matches. . . earned second-team E8 all-star honors. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Homer High School, Martinez played six seasons of varsity tennis there. . . was a three-time team MVP. . . was a first-team Onondaga league all-star selection at first doubles in 2003 and placed third in Section Three doubles in ’04. . . earned first-team all-league at third singles in 2002 and was an honorable mention choice at first singles in ’05.
